Giant Robot Girl
I was planning on working on a different picture but I did this instead.

My scanner saps a lot of the saturation out of my colors, it actually helped here because I made the crowd on the right too varied with deeper colors than the rest of the image. It made it muddled.

This was more of an experiment though, the lines are just pushing down hard with pencil and its all done on vellum bristol. Better luck tomorrow.

I love how she just seems to be another person in the crowd. That guy with the red hair seems to be saying "Oh, hey GRG, how's it going this morning?"

BTW, I love the way you draw buildings.

Yeah, I think he's directing the crowd so the girl doesn't step on people (or dogs).

Oh good subject matter! I'm pretty sure you were referencing the giant puppet right? I really adore that puppet troupe that makes those. So fascinating and frightening!

This looks good dude. I think you should've doinked with the levels to bring your lines up though. No biggie.

Yep. I toyed with just the levels and it was pretty bleak. The lines are just no.2 pencil, so it pretty well blends in. Which is sorta distracting when it comes to obviously black parts like her hair. But then adding black would up the contrast too much.
